The Democratic Union of Turkish-Muslim Tatars in Romania and the Faculty of History and Political Science of the „Ovidius” University of Constanța resume the series of lectures „History and civilization of the Tartars”. The meetings will also take place online.
Both students and master students from the „Ovidius” University of Constanța can enroll, regardless of specialization, but also all those who, regardless of age and training, want to know the main aspects of the historical evolution of the Tartars. Participation is free and is based on a request sent, until February 28, 2022, to the e-mail address istoriatatarilor@gmail.com.
The schedule of meetings will be established later by the teacher and students.
The series of lectures „History and civilization of the Tartars” was opened in 2014 and takes place every year based on a collaboration protocol between the Faculty of History and Political Science of the „Ovidius” University of Constanța and the Turkish-Muslim Tatar Democratic Union from Romania.
The lectures are given by Dr. Metin Omer, scientific researcher at the Institute for Development Studies and Security at the Black Sea, associate professor at the Faculty of History and Political Science, „Ovidius” University of Constanța.
